We are horrible bloggers! I will give a quick re-cap and then I suggest you take a look at Abigail's 9 month photos on our photo page. In case you haven't heard already- we've moved houses! We didn't go too far though, only about a mile from our old house. But it's a bigger house that is a lot less "quirky" than the old one and it sits on just over an acre in a little community of about 15 houses.
Since the move, we have been on the move around the state. We went to New Braunfels for family vacation. Abigail loved the river!! The cold water didn't seem to bother her after she got adjusted to it. We also took her to Schlitterbahn (I can spell that without looking it up :)) and she had so much fun splashing in the polywog pond just like I did when I was a kid! We also took a couple of trips over to Gruene and she got to dance with Grandpa Gray in the historic Gruene Hall. All in all a fantastic trip. Most of the picutres from the vacation were taken with my mom's water-proof camera but I will try to post some soon.
And in another sense of the word, Abigail is most definately on the move! Crawling, standing, and cruising.... I think she'll be all out walking in another month or two. Currently she prefers to crawl and it amazes me how quickly she can go from one room to the next as soon as I turn my back. She is also a very curious little one (and if you know Jim and me at all, you shouldn't be surprised by this). Her current fascination is with ceiling fans as seen in some of her pictures. She also loves to pull things out of whatever container they are in, much to mommy's dismay, this means just folded clothes come out of the basket and onto the floor in a wrinkled heap and toys are strewn all over the house. Sigh. But in the end, these little phases will pass and she will move on to the next one. All signs that she is growing up waaaay to fast.
I took her 9 month photos this past weekend. I am trying to improve my photography skills, I'm going to start taking a couple of classes soon. I am open to constructive criticism.
